Air-vent valve for pressure water heating system

It is one of the most important safety equipment for the pressure water heating system, often installed on the top of the water tank.

When the water temperature inside the water tank are coming higher and higher, sometimes it can be up to more than 80C, that means steam may be produced, then the temperature will come more higher and prssure will be also higher than 0.65Mpa, then the safety valve will work, but the steam are on the top of the water tank, so it will be a little dangerous if this temperature and pressure will take a long time, even in summer !

In that case, the air-vent valve will work normally, just leaking the hot air from the leaking mouth automaticlly, till no steam inside, and no hot water will come out at all ( hot water will leaking from the leaking mouth of safety valve).

So the air-vent valve often works together with the safety valve.

Material: copper

Working: temperature 110C, pressure: 10bars ( better item: 200C/390F, 10bars)

Another choose for the same function: TP valve ( temperature control + pressure control)

Function: automaticlly leaking hot air/steam, keep the water tank in good condtion

Installing: often installed on the top of the water tank

Remark: when you finishe installing of the complete system, don't forget to loose the leaking mouth cap, just let the leaking hole outside

Don't forget to examine/check the air-vent valve every 2 years, just make sure the leaking hole is ok.
